Canada has it coming...

I've worked in law enforcement for 17yrs. I've seen alot. I'm sure I'll see a lot more before I retire in 15 yrs.

Canada has had many wake-up calls, but continues to hit the snooze button.

The Boxing Day shoot-out on Yonge Street, killing a 15yr old female, injuring 6 others, has certainly stirred the pot. But for how long?

An arrest has been made, thanks to a Toronto cabbie who had the gumption to call in two suspicious characters who hopped into his cab shortly after the gun play.

The shooter? He'll be charged with criminal neg, causing death, or manslaughter. Might serve 3-5yrs.

Canada has proved itself, as a country, to have lax laws, a Young Offenders Act that borders on inviting teens to commit heinous crimes given their soft punishment. Gangs in Toronto recruit Y.O's (especially Asian gangs - sorry if you find the truth less than palatable) precisley for this reason.

I could go on...

Liberal Government = Crime? Where do you want to spend your time?

I do not wish a terrorist attack upon my country, Canada.

But if it were to happen, I'd say:

"Told you so".

Hit the snooze button again Canada. The next time, it just might be the timer to an explosive device...
