I was working for a TV station in British Columbia at the time of 9/11, and the thing which amazed me at the time -- and on the anniversary of the terrorist attack -- was that the editorial policy appeared to be to bend over backwards to portray Islam as a peaceful religion, incapable of committing or condoning such atrocities. I recall that it was a rush to head off a rush to judgment, and was so focused on spinning the Muslim message in a "nice" way that one almost forgot that THREE THOUSAND INNOCENT PEOPLE DIED WHILE A BUNCH OF ISLAMISTS SCREAMED "ALLAHU AKBAR!".
The fact remains that, until prominent Muslim leaders start denouncing terrorism and indicating passages in the Qu'ran which prohibit it -- or indicate whether passages used to support it have been taken out of context and then put them into the proper context -- one can only assume that terrorism does, in fact, have the backing of Islamic holy works. There was a tepid denunciation of terrorism issued by Canadian Imams this past summer, but unless I've missed something, I have not seen that echoed by Imams anywhere else in the world.
Note to HR: PLEASE take some kind of course in basic English! Your point barely survives the spelling, grammar and usage, it does not help your argument to make it look like it's being made by someone with limited intelligence -- which I'm sure you're not. (Another example, perhaps, of the Canadian system's lack of insistence that people be fluent and functional in at least one of the two official languages.)
