What if the U.S. had not invaded Iraq: We would now have cheap Russian (Chechnya) oil flowing through Iraq's pipelines to the western world outside the control of the world oil companies. And with Enron's pipeline from Russia through Afghanistan quashed by Bin Laden on behalf of the Chinese, most of this vast quantity of Russian (Chechnya) oil will now go by a new pipeline straight to China.

Snookered by the Chinese again.
