I truly appreciate your informative messages. You have a unique insight to many issues. I understand and agree with your arguments for and against the war. I'm an 'old soldier' (retired US Army) ... so I tend to agree with the kick a** attitude against enemies. Of course, I agree with your aggregate conclusion.

I do wonder what the argument might have been by reasoned minds for and against our war against Hitler? I am glad that our modern media wasn't available on the European fronts. I suspect they'd have done their best to aide our enemies and twist the news stories to suit their purposes... as they do... time and time again, today!

I find the open media of today without rules, without regard to the facts, with no sense of security issues, or any real moral fiber in their beings... to be at times, more dangerous than our enemies.
