Mr. Pipes,

Although I don't always agree with your opinions, I read your blog because you usually support your view points well and I like being challenged in my beliefs by a logical argument.

...The Iraqis are in no way better off now than before, we have not come close to winning this war militarily, and the future of Iraq is completely unpredictable (we might easily wind up with a pro-Iranian regime there).

To say we scored any kind of a victory is...questionable. The war on terror has been set back by making the focus Iraq instead of Al Quaeda. It has been, and continues to be, a catastrophe.
