Yes, Iraq had to undergo regime change from the metaphysical prison it was under Saddam Hussein, because of the various thugs and otherwise wild eyed people who view the West as their problem; they were received most hospitably.

There are other areas of the swamp that need to be drained, but at least there are lands which are living under more light from the lamp of Lady Liberty than 4 years ago.
