I for one have not been very happy with the UN. I will even go so far as to say that it is a very ineffective organization; since 1948 the only nation to go to war under the auspices of the UN was... guess who... GASP! The United States! This illegitimate organization is made more hypocritical when we see that it tries to impose its will on the United States yet not enforce any treaties or resolutions anywhere else in the world -- Iraq being a sterling example of UN "compliance" among others.
I read in one of Joseph Farah's columns that they have ratified a document as "holy writ" which includes a classical communist slogan. I'm paraphrasing, but it goes something like this: "for the redistribution of wealth from richer nations to the poorer ones, and the redistribution of wealth within the nations from the rich to the poor".
Though the UN may scowl as I laugh at them, they know as well as I do that the vast majority of UN-enforced military action was using the United States' armed forces. They know how their very political agendas, resolutions and "humanitarian aid" has helped to sustain the cycle of genocide in Africa.
Given this, and much greater damning evidence that I will not list here, I for one declare the UN to be an illegitimate governance. Perhaps, in one of the countless possible futures, we will secede from the UN.
