This was meant to be a joke. I also appreciate your very interesting and profound responses.

One of my favorite classes of al times was a class with the title of "Reading the Greek Classics" and I was given a copy of Greek dictionary that must have weighed a ton. I learned the hard way that when reading any text old or new, admitting, then correcting one's mistakes is what learning is all about.

And yes Homer is amazing in the original Greek!
