Jordana I understand what you are saying, yet every woman you described can be Muslim as well. I have notice many women being tricked in to sham marriages by Muslim men who then go back to their countries and leave these women pregnant, and in dire circumstances because now they are alone with no support and are thought to be loose women. Regardless of the so-called "loose morals" of the West, there are many westerners who have very high morals, also in a basically free society, people have the right to choose how they will live without someone judging them. Its not always a lack of morals or common sense that women get caught up in being used by certain types of men and women for that matter, It is just that human need to be loved by someone that rules their head and heart. I myself do not trust easily and have frustrated many of plans by foreign and American men to try a scam on me, but that is just my nature. Some unfortunately have a more trusting type of nature. I agree with the majority of what you say, but men will respect women anywhere in the world if brought up to do so, and will look down and use women if brought up to do so as well. There is absolutely no excuse on earth to use someone and then blame the victim, and victim shaming is totally wrong regardless of who did what. I hope this forum will go back to helping those who are hurting. I like your advice, but none of us can understand what others go through or what brought them to the circumstances they find themselves in. I'm not pointing any fingers at anyone, just been reading all the comments. I like how you advise from the heart as do a few others. Keep up the good advice.
