Dear M Tovey,

"It's hard for some of us not to be empathetic when we read of 'inhumanities against humanity". You're very right. That's why the large majority of the readers of this article tend to stay here for years. Because their level of empathy is huge and, indeed, no one can become indifferent after reading the thousands of stories published on here.

I just replied to another thoughtful reader about the consistency of lack of empathy among Muslims. And this is so evident for those of us whose works are related to psychology, anthropology and sociology fields.

I wouldn't like to repeat myself again, but yes, it's apparent that Muslim men suffer from NPD which is not acquired genetically but developed in childhood because of neglect, invalidation, lack of love, abuse (it may come in all forms and shapes, from emotional and verbal to physical and sexual abuse) exerted by your primary caretakers. Narcissists (human beings with a lack of empathy and remorse and an inability to be happy within themselves) destroy whatever they touch while empathetic people create. This is for me the key of everything.

If you think for a moment of all the horror stories narrated from this article, you will see a tendency displayed by the women in creating a perfect union to make the relationship thrive. They do whatever it takes, even changing their whole core values. They're separated from their families and isolated for the good of the relationship, when in fact, it's the religion which demands this isolation from kafirs (or kuffars). If those infidels are their relatives, it doesn't matter to these men. They just don't care as long as they are following their sadistic rules. Women submit but with the strong willingness to CREATE. They do it to create a family, a special bond, to prove their love. And they relentlessly try and work hard to make this bond work out in the name of love.

On the flip side, what do these men do? They destroy them. They destroy their inner-self, their identity, their self esteem. These men's lack of compassion is not a coincidence. It's with what they were fed since born and what their religion dictates. They can never see they're wrong or how wrong their acts are. How much these behaviours adversely impact on women's feelings and lives. And it's the only religion which promotes this thinking and these behaviours. I will repeat this many times, but all is in the scriptures for everyone to double check and learn. You don'teven need to go further and read extensive analysis of the religion. The original source is the best! And definitely, your religion condemns what this other encourages. Perhaps because this relates to the needs of a very ambitious and insatiable man who only looked for cater his own selfish needs? Just a thought...

I liked your comment very much.
