Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men
in response to reader comment: Sixth Sense

This is all true, moreover any women that are considering marrying a Muslim man should learn about his faith - no need to convert but definitely learn as much as you can. A lot of these men take advantage of the fact that we don't know much about Islam and its requirements. As repressive a religion it can be, a lot of pressure is also placed upon men to be good husbands. That means providing financially, providing a home, no infidelity unless permitted, listening to your wife, no haram activities... the list goes on and you bet these perverted men will twist things in their own favour.

Yeah you'll hear of Gulf Arab men leaving their wives at home while they get their jollies overseas... but their wives are being chauffeur-driven around on luxury shopping sprees. Not that it makes life any better, but look at what some of us ladies are settling for... disrespect, mistreatment... the list goes on and some of y'all are even financing it!
