Militant Islam is more dangerous
Reader comment on item: Militant Islam Is Put In Class With Communism, Fascism

Submitted by Yelena (United States), Aug 27, 2002 at 16:18

Militant Islam is more dangerous. Both Communism and Fascism existed for less than a century. Both promised a heaven on the Earth, so when people saw that instead of heaven they were getting a hell it was relatively easy for them to stop believing in either Communism or Fascism.

Everything is different with Militant Islam and much worse.

The rest of the World immediately recognized Communism and Fascism as evil and started to fight them in different ways. There was never a "good" Fascism, so people did not need to be careful not to upset "good" Facsists. But now we have "good" Muslims and "bad" Muslims. The Egyptian who committed a terror act in the LA airport was a "good" Muslim until he sent his family home and killed several people. And are the thousands of Muslims who were dancing in the streets when 3000 Americans died the most horrific death or when Israeli children and women were murdered "good" Muslims or "bad" ones?

At what a age does a Muslim kid firing a gun stop being a kid and become a terrorist?
