Mr. Ishii is plain wrong about at least one thing. Perhaps he does not know too many real Christians? As a fundamentalist Christian I would like to say that the Muslim idea of martyrdom is not one that is desirable theologically or in any other way. In fact, Christians all over the Muslim World are becoming the true Christian martyrs that Mr. Ishii proclaims to want more of. Almost every day they are murdered in Islamic states.
Islam will fade away because it is an anti-human ideology, not because good people, Christians or otherwise, adopt its perverted views of life. Meanwhile let's make sure that we support our troops, many of whom are Christians, in their goal (I wish it was Washington's goal too), of sending as many Islamic martyrs to Allah's poisonous embrace ASAP.
