I believe change is possible

Reader comment on item: The Middle East Forum Debates Moderate Islam

Submitted by Robin Rosenblatt (United States), Mar 30, 2014 at 12:09

I believe change is possible and I know that Muslims will need our help to do it. But I don't think there is the time to make such a change. It took the Japanese 50 years to change with America help. In China, Mao and his Little Red Book did it and it took many deaths and severe trauma.

There are no rulebooks that say Muslims will succeed in changing but it is a lot better then destroying all of them. If they don't change they will destroy themselves or we must do it for them.
