I don't know much about Lebanon's civil war and its current state of affairs. When I was living in London, I would buy The Independent each morning and, in front of a cup of coffee, read Robert Fisk's daily accounts on Lebanon.
Robert Fisk's accounts would be highly subjective, anti-Zionist and, at times, anti-Semitic. He would blame everything on Israel, especially Chabra and Chatila.
It was only when I came into contact with Daniel Pipes and his work that I started seeing things from a different, more sensible, balanced perspective.
Could it always be Israel's fault? Syria has been occupying Lebanon since a year before I was born. We cannot blame Sharon for what Syria has done in Lebanon.
And the Syrian occupation of Lebanon also justifies Israel's self-defence against a possible invasion.
Today, I no longer live in London and I have gone back to my country. I no longer sip cofee in front of Robert Fisk's most recent account on Israel's brutality in Lebanon and things start looking different.
Syria has been brutal in Lebanon and they would do the same things to the Israelis. Israel is entitled to fight back. And, as Daniel Pipes says, things have started to look up for Lebanon.
