Mutual defense with Tehran's mullahs.

Another excellent piece of writing. If Syria has a mutual defense pact with Tehran, is it possible that the Iranian mullahs will prop up Mr. Assad's government by threatening the Middle East (specifically Israel and possibly a democratic Iraq) with their nuclear weapons?
