Peace process
Reader comment on item: Lebanon's Liberation Approaches

Submitted by Staff (United Kingdom), Feb 22, 2005 at 17:04

As many have noted, anti-Semitism has grown dramatically lately. As Israel and its muslim neighbours draw closer to a peaceful settlement, the true anti-Semites -- those who have hidden behind the smokescreen of Arab/Israeli problems -- will soon be exposed for what they are.

From states like Iran and Syria, to individuals in every country, the UN, the EU etc.they will no longer be able to hate Jews or Israelis. Therefore, they will do whatever is necessary to prevent the peace process.

i predict a simultaneous attack from all the well known forces upon the peace process and its participants be they Muslim or Jew. Every effort should be taken to prevent this from occuring.

Terrorist groups and disaffected individuals will work towards the aim of preventing the peace process. Assassination of those involved in the peace process is highly probable. Spin -- blaming Israel will be major headline news and all the while the true anti's will be covering their tracks and retrenching, developing new means of attack upon Judaism and Israel.

But will web sites and comments like this have any effect? Will the few who see what might truly be happening be able to inform even just a few people?

The Jews have been used as scapegoats for 1000s of years -- why should it change now? It is so easy to blame the Jews - everyone does it. Once, if I am not wrong, the Chinese communist party blamed the economic problems on their Jewish population, all 12 of them, and most were over 70 years of age. Until the people of the world can accept their own responsibility for what happens to them, that it is not outsiders or Jews causing the problems, we will never know peace.
