What should the world do?

Reader comment on item: Denying [Islamist] Terrorism

Submitted by Penny (United States), Feb 9, 2005 at 20:03

Any "well read", educated person would know the true reality behind these incidents. The problem lies in the fact that "politics" do exist and the world as a whole does not want to and has never wanted to acknowledge the fact that anti semitism exists...to be more explicit Jews are hated all over the world on any number of levels but in partitular by Muslims. It has become OK in recent years for people to be more vocal because (keeping in mind Holocust being soooo very long ago quote/unquote) .

Why was the world not speaking out as far back as the 1970s when internationally Muslims and Christins were "warring" with one another? In TOO many incidents we took the side of the"poor" wounded Muslims....ha ha it has now come back to bite us.
WHY you ask does all these happen and be reported "the way they are?" Because we allowed ourselves to be liberal, fair minded civilized people in a world where this does not exist for one and uneducated people are perfect to be given twisted realities and propaganda too.

Governments tell us what they want us to believe and unless we take the time to THINK for ourselves and research what does not make sense we buy into it.
