Denying Religion

Reader comment on item: Denying [Islamist] Terrorism

Submitted by Timbre (United States), Feb 8, 2005 at 11:24

The modern American tradition is to treat all religions as equal--even obviously manufactured religions with no history, no traditions, and no rationale. Islam, has a 1,400 year-old tradition, and this makes it even more difficult for many to detect its intrinsic hatred of non-Muslims. By use of doublespeak, the writers of the Qur'an and the various Hadith simultaneously express love and tolerance for all, unless they reject Islam, and hatred for those who have denied and rejected the prophetic message of Muhammad, which is basically all non-Muslims.

Until the "politically correct" understand that hatred, murder, and supremacy cannot be justified in the name of religion, these type of denials will continue.
