Alexander (United States), Oct 25, 2004 at 11:12 I don't believe that Bush is as wonderful on the Middle East as you choose to maintain. If he WERE truly interested in the problems he would immediately, upon assuming office, have set an energy policy which dramatically weaned us off of Middle East oil. To me, this is the real litmus test of a solid middle east policy. I think the invasion of Iraq was a HORRIBLE and, ultimately, counter-productive illustration of the arraogance of this administration.We KNOW what Bush has done, both abroad and domestically.
