While I support Pres. Bush, hope he succeeds in the ME, and doubt that Kerry will either have good luck with France or make a good CinC, I suspect that should Kerry win, Bush's political epitaph will be a variation from Kipling: "Here lies another bloody fool who tried to hustle the [Mid]east."
However, the point where I worry about Bush's approach is that the remaking of an entire civilization is a tall order--especially when Washington tends to be clueless when it comes to talking to devout Christians in the Midwest, much less devout Muslims in the Mideast.
