Continuing roil over terrorismReader comment on item: In the Mideast, Bush dared to be different Submitted by Beau Pritchard (United States), Oct 25, 2004 at 11:10 911 was a criminal act perpetrated by a group of internationalists who wanted to bloody America's nose for sticking it in other countries' business. It was not America that they hated, but as becomes obvious to anyone who has actually read Bin Laden's book (something seemingly none of our intelligence or news agencies appear to have done) they hated our policy of intervention into the affairs of their nation. It was not terrorism in that the intent was not to terrorize. That it did speaks more to the nerve of our leadership than to ben Laden's group. The global war on terrorism is a farce ginned up by those in power in the United States fearful of changing demographics and the consequencies of having squandered the hopes and dreams of a nation into unpayable debt and unwilling to stop the spending.
