I'm living in Poland for many years, I have never heard good words toward Jews by Poles unless very very rarely. Rather I have heard repeatedly phrases of hatred from most of Poles despising the Jews and detest them, when I ask them. Why you so hate Jews? Some says that Poland is not their homeland, and some says the Jews completely were established hegemony over everything in the country (simply jealousy!). Indeed the Poles always blame Jews on their problems...

Poland had a terrible long history of anti-Semitism before the World War II and is still. Racism toward Jews in Poland is still most active! The Polish church was the major force promoting hatred toward Jews and still at present, parts of Catholic Church is still anti-Semitic in Poland. The official anti-Semitic campaign of the Polish government in 1967- 1968 even before that led to THE EXODUS of most of Poland's surviving Jewish population. Poland had the largest Jewish community in Europe, and though Polish Jews were virtually wiped out where that Jews are NO longer a significant part of the Polish society, although they were almost about one-third Poland population. Before the war, about 3.5 million Jews lived in Poland. Today, there in Poland no more than 15,000 Jews, out of a population of 38 millions. Yes, the Jews were massacred and robbed by Poles, were some of atrocities by Poles in some areas in Poland against Jews and were some pogroms by Poles during and after the World War II. In fact, the Jews were wiped out during the Holocaust by German Nazi and its collaborators of "Poles, Ukrainians, Lithuanians, Latvians, and Croatians."

For example, today, the Reverend Tadeusz Rydzyk, also known as Father Director and The Founding Father creator and head of the controversial Radio Marya station (the main catholic Radio) and a grand leader of the Radio Marya Family's nationalistic-clerical movement in Poland. Mr. Rydzyk shockingly is an anti-Semite; repeatedly he declared hatred declarations toward Jews. Also a few months ago, we heard about the outrageous statements and inflammatory and false remarks by the former head of the Polish bishops' conference, Tadeusz Pieronek. These statements are an INSULT to MILLIONS of Jews who were killed in the Holocaust.

Let alone, Mr. Roman Giertych, was the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, and his father Mr. Maciej Giertych who was member of the Polish parliament and member of the European Parliaments. BOTH Giertychs shockingly are anti-Semite. Mr. Andrzej Lepper, he was the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development. And also the most famous Pole in America is Mr. Zbigniew Brzezinski, the former advisor to President Carter. Shockingly, he is an anti-Semite.

However the late Dr. Marek Edelman, who was the last surviving commander of of the five-person command group that led the uprising the 1943 Warsaw ghetto uprising against the Germans. Despite his strange hostility for Zionism, but he was fighting so hard for his Jewish and Polish identity. He was not absolves the Poles of anti-Semitism. Finally, not all Poles are bad….
