Not unreasonableReader comment on item: Faisal Shahzad, Jihadi, Explains Terrorism Submitted by Joseph II (United States), Jun 26, 2010 at 05:57 Shahzad's point is quite cogent. Islam is not occupying Western lands nor raining bombs on Western cities, as we have done recently on Gaza and Beirut. The Muslims, after all, don't have F-15's. They don't have the capacity to rain 1,000-pound bombs on densely populated urban neighborhoods. I suppose they would if they could, and some day they will, but for now all they have is little terrorists like Shahzad. It's a disproportionate response in the inverse sense, but for now it's the best they can do. The Arabs say that vengeance takes forty years. It was roughly forty years from the Six Day War to September 11th. If it takes forty years from Operation Cast Lead to future revenge, only the younger citizens among us have that to look forward to.
