Don't look away

Reader comment on item: Faisal Shahzad, Jihadi, Explains Terrorism
in response to reader comment: Ignoring this fact not make it disappear

Submitted by Kiel Hesselmann (Denmark), Jun 29, 2010 at 07:35

It is said in a book by Rabbi Yonassan Gershom (1996), and expressed by Carole Louie in one of the chapters, that "The Holocaust was not only about abusers, but also about allowing abuse. To love one's self enough not to allow one's self to be abused is just as important as not to abuse others."

Let it be a timely reminder to all in a time where the civilized world once again is threatened by a necrophile ideology.
