Let's not forget what the turks did to Europe for 500 years ......

The Turks are not trusted by any of European countries, especially those from Eastern Europe.
As all Asian conquerors, the Turks have destroyed the symbols of the vanquished [ e.g. Santa Sophia became a Mosque, Al-Asqa built on Jewish Temple] and also desecrated everything and everywhere
they had the opportunity. Finally they were defeated in WWI. The outcomes of the negotiations ( British Empire, France, Italy, USA ) were in some ways favorable to Turkey [ keeping the European Turkey] even if the initial discussions were to have the Ottoman Empire expulsed from Europe. The Eastern European countries who suffered the Ottoman Occupation were not happy. The same European Countries will be put under USSR control after WWII. British Empire and USA were negotiators on both of these arrangements.

Today Turkey realizes that it is better to be in the Oil-Consortium [ Russia, Iran, Adzerbadjan, etc. ] rather with in the "Oil-Client-Consortium" and/or NATO. The Ottoman-nostalgic Turkey moves toward East to
relinquish all the old-habits and used the "Westernization" as the means of this end.

Europe and USA know very well of Niccolo Machiavelli , of "Divide Et Impera" but they do not know to use
them. Russia, IThe Ruand/or apply ly
