Islam Played What Role?

Dr Pipes,

I hate to do this, but I have to call you in question.

You have covered the waterfront and maybe that is all there is to it because one has to ask the question: Would Turkey be like they are now without Islam?

So, I wouldn't close my eyes to Islam playing no role at all.
