"Democracy means government of majority but we cant ignore the Minority"

Reader comment on item: The Democrats and Israel

People say that muslim minority is the vote bank of Congress and all regional parties of India, this is fact but development is very bellow in the coparision of othe religion and caste that is equal to SC and ST.the truth of Sachchar committee report is reality but reprassive and depressive policy of all government is responsible.

If we compare the litracy rate of Indian muslim with others the we see minor differences but theirs participation in government and private sectors is very low. The litracy differences rate of all states of India between hindu and muslim are 2.50% to 5%. But theirs participation is very low.

At the time of independence muslims participation was very well that was 20% to22% in all sectors and states but at time bellow 2%.

This is major problems for India to development of muslims. Government should take serious this subject and matter for good social environment ,national development and national security, because literacy, unemployment and living standards are very low.

thank you,

Guddu
