If you are referring to the McCain/Palin presidential ticket, most Vietnam vets (including their wives) resented McCain, especially wives of POWs. If McCain had been elected, there would have been a mass exodus of millions-upon-millions-upon-millions of white collar professionals of all ages -- the very people who make this country run on an everyday basis. And that is why Obama won -- end of story. So you can cry from today until tomorrow, but most of us supported Obama. There was no other option.
