The time of ignorance

When I was in Lahore, Pakistan, the most liberal and "progressive" city in Pakistan (which has made its way all the way up to about the 10th Century), I learned of the curriculum in the Pkaistani public schools - not the madrassas...the public school system, mind you, where their world history curriculum started at the birth of Mohammed. Nothing before that was taught and has been erased.

There´s a word for it, which I´ve forgotten, but it translates into "The time of ignorance": The time before Mohammed and Islam. Mark my words, we´ll see Europe´s history erased by Islam in our lifetimes. And if America goes the way of Western Europe, children a few hundred years from now will never know or learn about the people who actually built and made our country.
