Exposure of terrorist support

Reader comment on item: Is the Middle East "Freer, More Hopeful, and More Promising"?

Submitted by Joe Six-Pack (United States), Dec 8, 2008 at 20:55

I believe that our actions since 9/11 has not created very many 'new' terrorists as many claim. I believe that they were supporters of terrorist ideology before and our actions made them stand up and say so publicly. Even though this can be seen as a setback, I believe it to be in our best interests because one of the greatest difficulties in combating terrorism is knowing who they are and who supports them.
