in response to reader comment: The WHY? of Terrorism in Islam

Submitted by Hebat (United Arab Emirates), Jan 11, 2009 at 20:33

I will start with some facts ,Islam did not start with few Ebionites nor Khadijah was one of them, the only prophet in Islam is the great prophet Mohammad and the Qur'an came to him during and after the Death of all Muslim's beloved Khadijah , before Islam new born girls where buried alive ,women taken as loots and had no right of ownership or learning , I did not get how the topic was diverted from a modern issue to a campaign against prophet Mohammad not until I tracked the website that the writer kept referring to-the whole thing is self publicity -and that explains the lies injected on Mohammad it indicates that Dane Dahl has hatred for a man who commanded each Muslim to think on his own seek knowledge and constantly learn ,Dane Dahl Hate and seek for personal gains are obvious but Mohammad asked me not to hate back asked me to observe think learn conclude and communicate.

I have encountered many articles about Islam from people who assume knowledge in this amazing religion , the articles always gave explanations coated with half truths narrow perspectives and mostly packed with inflammatory accusations ,Dane Dahl did not break form that pack , I advice the reader to simply disregard the information as well as the citations laid in this bombers and The WHY? of Terrorism in Islam. I was astonished to find out that His historic references are built on fabricated information given in a website that he actually created.
Before starting 2 point needed to be cleared, the pairing of Islam with terrorism and presume that such things as Militant Muslims or moderate Muslim exists.
first The ambiguous definition of terrorism and the over use of the terminology is getting old , the much debated word is used mainly to rally emotions for objectives that does not have grounds merits or foundations(seen in Iraq) I was not successful to find a single definite structure to base the terrorism accusation from a recognized reliable source. Second there is no Moderate Muslim or militant (extremist) or any other fancy terminology, we describe our selves as committed Muslim or not so committed only an ignorant in Islam come up with such classifications.
I have to point that Dane Dahl had the audacity to use his own wording and claim that it is from Qu'ran to back up his own blunt lies unbelievable!!. In order to understand Qur'an it is needed to have a collective knowledge in the circumstances of each Sorah (Passages)this includes: theof time the Sorah was given ,the occasion and context of the Ayah and it's relation to the whole body of the text(which should be unchanged or shortened) also an outstanding command in Arabic language and it's grammar is essential to interpret the Phrases and a grip on prophet Mohammad sayings or hadith that usually give some interpretation of the cause of the Ayah( only few people had ever reached this level of knowledge one of them is Saed Qutob). It is difficult science that the writer's is in no position to assume knowledge in. An example for Dane Dahl faulty citation is the following:
[…create terror in the hearts of non-Moslems …cut off their heads…Chapter 8 Verse 12 - The Koran]
while the actual text is
{Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instil terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them }(Booty)ayah 12}http://www.islamicity.com/ this Sorha has specific historic relation to a battle called Bader in the early days of Islam, not about a command to kill non Muslims at all. And this goes the same for each citation.
The teachings of Islam doest not call for violence either on non-Muslims or women in real life .I am a Muslim women and part of committed Muslim family I have many brothers and always treated by as princess never laid hand on persecuted pushed or denied anything, I completed Master studies, given the option to work travel and be independent as the majority of my fellow Muslim women all over the world ,the Ideology of Islam is to treat and care for women even better than equals also it calls for the use communication in our daily encounters with non Muslims.
Hope Dane Dahl article is dismissed by all the readers as it is packed with manufactured information and inflammatory assumptions.
