Last year in Afghanistan, an important ally of the US against terrorism, a man left Islam and became a Christian. That set off Afghan mobs screaming and calling for his blood and life. Even the courts ordered his execution for leaving Islam. Then with international pressure, that man got asylum in Italy and was spirited out of the borders of the US ally.

The situation is identical in other US allys of the war on terrorism like saudi Arabia and pakistan. So, in the legal and popular ethos in many Muslim countris call for the death of those who leave Muslim religion. Why do you think the same heat can't be turned on Obama by US allies?
