Obama used to be Muslim..., and so what?

Reader comment on item: Barack Obama, Google, and This Website

I'm a Brazilian journalist and teacher, and here in Barzil it doesn't matter if our candidate is Catholic or not, even Brazil being a Catholic country. The fact that some terrorists attacked the USA doesn't imply that all muslim are bad. A religion is just a way people have to be in touch with the divine, not matter the name it has. I believe George W. Bush is Christian... and look at the situation the USA is nowadays... To the hell with prejudice... your color, religion, origin means nothing if you are a competent and honest person.
