Inflluencing Hamas to release Gilad Shalit

Do you think that demonstrations in countries outside Israel against Hamas would help to influence Hamas to release Gilad Shalit?

What do you think is the best way to encourage such demonstrations?

How can we change world opinion that seems apathetic to the criminal nature of Hamas?
