The Holy Quran has always been criticized throght out the ages but has withstand the criticism. The mistakes are not mistakes but how the quranic verses are taken out of context and applied. The quran is supported by the sunnah of the Prophet. There are many books written by converts that have studied the Quran and its meanings. Name me any other religious text that is more authentic then the Quran! Most of the religions that spanned out of Islam adopted the Quran as its criteria - Sikhhism, Bahiaism, & Ahmedyas etc. They were successful to the point as long as they were supported by powers bent upon distorting Islam. Suffice to say that today Islam is more widely practices in its beauty then any other religion and Islam does not need a Pope, and bishops, and the army of clergy and missionaries that only aim to win bodies to reconfirm their own insecurities and inconsistencies of their faith.
