Another troubling quote from Wright

I agree with Canaan's summary of the "chicken" quote being from Malcolm X. What I found most telling was the following quote, which I believe came from Rev. Wright and no other man. "Louis Farrakhan is not my enemy. He did not put me in chains. He did not put me in slavery. And he didn't make me this color."

His enemy made him "this color"? Was that a slip of the tongue? He presented himself as speaking with great authority quoting Jesus, as if it gave him power to pass judgement on America. What is dreadful to me is his alliance with Farrakhan who spews hatred from his mouth for the very people Wright's church builds its' foundation on.
