Propping up terrorists, the effect of altruism.

Reader comment on item: Who Supports Israel[, Jews or Conservatives]?

Submitted by David Smith (United States), Sep 3, 2003 at 15:52

Mr. Pipes, what has struck me as the most telling of this article is the following quote:
"It was primarily conservatives in the European Parliament who pushed for a parliamentary committee of inquiry into the possible misuse of the European Union's monthly 10 million euro stipend to the Palestinian Authority for support of terrorism. "

Why does the EU pay 10million euro STIPEND to the PLO? How much does the U.S. contribute? That kind of altruistic "giving" in the name of humanity IS the TRUE cause of the unrelenting use of innocent Palestinian youths as literal cannon fodder for the "high and mighty" cause of Ending the "occupation" they are led by those cheaters living off those payments. Would there be anything FOR ANYONE TO OCCUPY were it not for the infused wealth of other nations propping them up?

The nature of this existence on earth requires that mankind make their own way in life, we have to use our minds and reason to create our own industries, property, and laws to protect our societies and organizations.

Are we not perverting reality when we give them MILLIONS and MILLIONS of unearned units of money?

Is it not apparent that there are those who see these handouts as a system to be manipulated to further their advantage?

Merchants of chaos then take free food, clothing, shelter and thus free time to work the system to compel their followers to take to the streets and clamor for MORE handouts from western treasuries - or else they will stir up more death, destruction and gore. The west fears this, feels sorry for its own prosperity.

Ayn Rand was right.
