Although I agree with most of what you say I think you have missed the Left's sheeplike attitude when anyone right of centre is involved. If this was Clinton going to war against Iraq you would get remarks like 'I don't know what purpose it serves by attacking one another at this point. I mean, if ever there was a time for us to present a unified front to Iraq, this ought to be it.' (Tom Daschle 1998)

But as it's Bush, they are trying to impeach him. The same thing happens in respect of Mugabe and Pinnochet. One is arrested and threatened with extradition while the other is welcomed with open arms. The difference? One is right wing the other left wing.

This isn't about thought but reaction.
