Proof positive; Jerusalem, Israel belong to Muslims

Reader comment on item: More on the Muslim Claim to Jerusalem

Hey lets do a little math. The Israelis arrive 1400 years [after the Muslims], and conquer Jerusalem. OK, Muslims arrive in Jerusalem in 638 AD; add 1400 years and voila; it's now 2038 AD. Hmmm, that's really not logical. OK, lets use the date that Muhammad rode his horse, al-buraq to Jerusalem while on his way to heaven: Aya 17:1 "Glory to (Allah) who did take his servant for a journey by night from the Sacred Mosque to the farthest Mosque, whose precincts we did bless,- in order that we might show him some of our signs."

Even if we assume that Muhammad accomplished this mission as early as 610 AD, the year that Angel Gabriel commenced teaching Muhammad to recite; adding 1400 years would bring us to 2010; four years from today. Well that ain't going to work either. To heck with this darned math; when have the Muslims ever been wrong? I think this is the best proof to date, that Jerusalem and Israel obviously belong to Islam.
