Undeniable claim to Jerusalem

Reader comment on item: More on the Muslim Claim to Jerusalem

Submitted by Rebecca Moulds (United States), Jan 4, 2009 at 23:38

Last year I made a comment that there are nearly one thousand references to Jerusalem in the Scriptures. Anyone can open a Bible and read this for themselves. Not only was David the king of Israel, his throne was in Jerusalem. Psalm 122:5 :"For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David." Need there be more proof that Jerusalem cannot be claimed by Muslims?

There is so much evidence that Jerusalem has always had a Jewish connection that it's hard to believe that some people refuse to acknowledge this important fact, both in historical and religious aspects.
