I applaud the FBI's initiative

Reader comment on item: [Mosque Mischief and] Counting Mosques

Submitted by Calisse Cansime (United States), Feb 4, 2003 at 08:46

I applaud the FBI in its initiative of counting mosques. Indeed, we have known how many mosques (and associated bodies such as Madrassas, Darul-Uloom's, etc) breed diehard terrorists.

Let's not be two-faced about it: Militant Islam is the only religion in the world known to preach violent intolerance. If we are to fight terrorism, mosques are a good place to start. To Dr Pipes, many thanks for this article.

I was so shocked to read today that Abu Hamza Masri, a leading Islamic cleric in Great Britain, commented on the Columbia tragedy saying it was some punishment from Allah! See this:

These militant Islamist bigots seek shelter in the freedoms accorded to them by liberal western nations and then
plot against these very nations that gave them refuge.

Go on FBI, keep up the good work and don't have two thoughts about it. It's also high time the British authorities took the hint and did likewise...
