What is the harm here?

Reader comment on item: [Mosque Mischief and] Counting Mosques

Submitted by Stuart Dew (United States), Feb 4, 2003 at 08:07

My first comment is: So what is the harm here ? other than the possible outcome that certain mosques show up as locations where illegal activities tend to occur. I guess we're not supposed to be able to know that information. The only harm to Islamicists is if certain of the mosques show up too often, thereby illuminating a possible anti American terror center right here in the US.

I was amused by the most militant and anti democratic group on the globe calling this activity by the FBI as "undemocratic". Once again they continue to use our own freedoms against us and squeal like stuck pigs when we combat them. Exactly which of Americans' freedoms are we violating here anyway? The guaranteed freedom to band together to commit terrorist activities?
