Reader comment on item: Is Turkey Going Islamist?
in response to reader comment: NO to Turkey

How dare Eu Commissioners propose the enlargement of the EU without the consent of the people. With the proposed EU constitution in tatters and Turkey being primarily in Asia the last thing Europe needs is another member state. Plus of course if ever Turkey becomes a Theocracy Europe will rue the day for letting millions of muslims settle amongst democratic states. Unelected members in Brussels have failed miserably to bring their own house in Order-unable to account properly with audited Accounts-steam rolling enlargement without regard of monetary policies needed to do so.

Who will control this "Empire"? The end of a United Europe is propably in sight and suspect that the majority of existing member states and their population does not agree unless there is an Agenda to ensure that the EU is weakened and rendered uncompetitive.Who will vote for possibly more fundamentalists entering the fray furthering the Islamisation of Europe.
