i really don't know where to start but i think i can start with suggesting to look at "tete de turc" and perheps "croissants" you enjoy at breakfast , Fear of Turks is a result of serious intellectual work that settled in the minds and hearts of north&west europeans , Vatikan and it's precious popes , Martin Luther King , Erasmus and many other scolars and leaders in european history systematically pointed out that the only enemy of Europe is Turks , and while doing that the image used to describe Turks vary from helldogs to monsters
among the politicians and soldiers in europe it was an acceptable thing to use vulgar ,insanely racist language in diplomatic correspondence if its concerning Turks , i would be more than happy to provide you the sources , and for the record being turk is not something you can limit by the definition of ethnicity, the word Turk has been used as an insult for ages and not only middle ages but even today (check why deportivo fans are called turks by Celta Vigo fans) , and until recently it was legally allowed to shoot a Turkish person in Iceland and you would get away with it how nice huh ? (as a result of associating Turks with pirates) . approx. population of Turks and Turkish descendants in Europe is 5 to 6 million and significant amount of those people are not Turkish citizens and they are going anywhere . 23 May 1993 Solingen/ Germany turkish-german Genc family's house was burned down with 5 family members in it,

One last example please read about the village called Faymonville in belgium and learn why are they called Turks ,
Turcophobia is real and serious as a heart attack and probably much more dangerous than anti-semitism, Turkey's membership for EU is not such a big issue for turks trust me its a state policy that is forced to us by false promises of EU and USA , EU doesn't want Turkey to join but doesn't allow Turkey to seek her own future elsewhere either so thats not really fair to say "Turkey shall not join EU" , today Europe needs Turkey more than ever and EU started losing its popularity in Turkey dramatically anyway , we have nothing to lose really we made it so far and doing just fine in about 10-20 years we shall have no interest in joining EU
