Involving Syria is the best solution.

Of all of the solutions I have reviewed, the solution involving Syria, as discussed in Mr. Pipes' article seems to be the best. The problem presently, however, is the world media opinion that Israel has responded far in excess of the acts committed by Hizbullah. What grief will Israel be forced to absorb if they attack Syria.

Further, I see no evidence that Israel has the motivation to move against Syrian targets, and I can't even begin to guess how the Bush administration would react. The Turkish solution for Israel is the right solution, but the Israeli courage to put it into action seems limited, and US courage to support such Israeli action appears non-existent.
