in response to reader comment: Mousaoui's fate is worse than death

jason, the "fate worse than death" arguement doesnt hold water. i worked as a jailer for many years, and have found once a person is convicted of a serious offence, they forget about what they had done to land in jail, and spend they're every waking hour figuring on how to get out of jail. ( witness mousaoui's latest retraction of his sworn testimony). i'm afraid he will be nothing more than a huge expense to us, and he will spend no time in remorse. he will be a constant disruption to the prison and no smalll threat to his handlers, and will most likely try and recruit others who will get out of prison to his cause. i feel he should have been put to death, as the next terrorists will now have a precedent to fall back on, regardless of the severity of their crimes.
