Playing the Harlot

Reader comment on item: Government for Sale [to the Saudis]

Submitted by Shosh (United States), Dec 4, 2002 at 04:44

Must we Americans play the harlot and dance to the Saudi's perverse tune for oil?

If the Bush administration cannot right these grievous wrongs, how can we believe in its ability to fight Islamo-fascist terror and other injustices?

The Saudis have NEVER been our friends -- they have only used us and taken advantage of us down through the years!

To put it bluntly, I'd rather French kiss a rattlesnake then put my trust in ANYTHING the Saudis ... have to say in regard to "friendship" OR terror...

Then again, wasn't it a lying viper who corrupted Eve in the Garden? Seems that same snake is commuting between the Beltway and the Arab/Moslem world...

To the administration, I say, "FOR SHAME!!!" Bush got my vote in 2000 -- but as long as he cozies up to Arabs/Moslems and serves as Apologist-in-Chief for them, he will NEVER get my vote... And I think I can count on many, if not ALL, of my friends to follow suit...
