What can the average person do?

Reader comment on item: Government for Sale [to the Saudis]

Submitted by Tom Pensyl (United States), Dec 3, 2002 at 17:10

Hey let's not bash the Saudis too hard. After all they sell us their oil, don't they?

If we could just make the average American realize the connection between filling his gas tank and Islamic terror, it could make a big difference. Could you imagine if we could go on a crash program to eliminate our dependence on oil from the Middle East? The Saudis wouldn't have all those petro-dollars to fund the export of their fundamentalist religion (from which comes terrorists). And our government leaders could show the Saudis for what they really are.

I guess we'll have to bleed some more before people will wake up.
