Saudi = Taliban with $$

Reader comment on item: Government for Sale [to the Saudis]

Submitted by Glenn Klotz (United States), Dec 3, 2002 at 09:13

The Saudis are nothing more or less than the Taliban with $$ and the influence it brings. That we are nothing more than addicts to them is obvious in the arrogantly dismissive way they treat us. They are able to get away with this behavior because they know Americans don't want to make the necessary changes in our energy situation to be able to break their hold on us. Instead we use our guns to protect these "drug (oil) dealers" from harm so we can be sure we get a steady supply of what we need to stay High
(on a tank of Hi-test and a clean windshield.)

We have nobody to blame but ourselves.
